(Braselton, Ga. Sept 29-Oct. 2, 2015)
After a long and challenging season we are happy to be champions! Robby in his 3rd year in the series proved to be a veteran, and really finished off the year strong.
With the championship, Mazda provides Robby with a scholarship and the opportunity to race next year in the newly developed Global MX-5 Cup Car as a Mazda Motorsports Development driver. Robby now joins an elite family of drivers to be backed by Mazda.
“It’s an incredible achievement, and I am so honored to join past champions and proven talents, on the Mazda ladder system. I will be forever grateful of Mazda for their support and the opportunity to prove myself at the next level. They are truly the only car company in the world to invest in young talent the way that they do, and I am looking forward to taking the next step up the Mazda Road to 24 ladder.”
Robby would like to thank first and foremost his parents for their support of his racing over the years.
In addition Robby would like to thank Mazda, Battery Tender, SCCA Pro Racing, the Skip Barber Racing School, BF Goodrich tires, and the other competitors for a great season.
“I am so grateful and relieved to be champion! It has taken a lot of hard work over the years, and immense support from many people. Looking back on my road to where I am now I am very proud and humbled to have taken advantage of opportunities others have given me to be a professional racing driver. Anyone that knows me knows that my life’s passion is racing, and I am very thankful for all of the fun times and memories I’ve been able to have in my short career so far, so a massive thank you goes out to anyone who has supported me to this point!”
